Get Well Bobby

Spirit of Shankly would like to pass on our thoughts and best wishes to legendary Liverpudlian Bobby Wilcox and his family. Bobby has undergone surgery at the Royal Liverpool Hospital today and we wish him a full and speedy recovery.

For those that don’t know him, Bobby has been a popular figure amongst Liverpool fans for many years and is also well known around the city’s amateur football circuit. He has run a coach to away games for many years, as well as organising travel & accommodation to European matches for literally hundreds of fans over the decades.

We look forward to seeing him back on his feet and back at the match in the very near future.
