The Spirit of Shankly have been working on getting a reduced price for day trip travel to the Fiorentina game since the draw was made.
After talking with WorldChoice Sports, Flight Options and Thomas Cook it has become clear that Thomas Cook are the only company offering day return flights. The other two companies felt it was too expensive to run flights.
The Union has managed to secure a £15 discount for our members who book with Thomas Cook and while we feel this is not a sufficient discount we feel it is only fair to offer this to our members. In order to take advantage of the discount application can be made on either the Thomas Cook website (www.thomascooksport.com) or over the telephone (0870 752 0924) - if booking on the website you will need to enter the code 'sosfiorentina' into the promotional code box, if booking over the telephone you just need to quote the code 'sosfiorentina'
We will continue to look for the best deals for our members in the future.
