The socialism I believe in is everyone working for each other, everyone having a share of the rewards. It's the way I see football, the way I see life. - Bill Shankly

The Spirit of Shankly Management Committee can confirm that the Annual General Meeting of the Union will take place at 11.45am (for a 12.00 noon start) on Sunday 28th February 2010 at the Olympia on West Derby Road, Liverpool. This is the day of the home game against Blackburn which kicks off at 3.00pm.
The meeting will deal with ratification of the election results, a report upon the Union's accounts, resolutions from the Committee, reports upon the Union's activities for the last year and any resolutions from members.
A written notice of the meeting and the resolutions to be put will be despatched to members prior to the 1st February 2010.
Members will have until the 14th February 2010 to propose any resolutions to be put before the AGM. This needs to be done in writing to the Secretary via the Union's postal address Spirit of Shankly, EDT, 98 Great Homer Street, Liverpool, L5 3LF or by email to secretary@spiritofshankly.com.
Any proposals need to be proposed and seconded by current members of the Union. Any additional resolutions received prior to the AGM will be posted on the Union website prior to the AGM but will not be sent to members through the post, although an email will be sent to all members indicating any fresh proposals received.
Please make every effort to attend the AGM - we anticipate that discussions about our current campaigns and the recent meeting we had with Christian Purslow will be of interest to members at the meeting.
Thousands of SOS members around the world took part in our Not Welcome Here campaign. Did you? If so see if you can find yourself on the map.
