The socialism I believe in is everyone working for each other, everyone having a share of the rewards. It's the way I see football, the way I see life. - Bill Shankly

The Spirit of Shankly held a free football coaching afternoon on Saturday 13th February as part of our ongoing commitment to the community and to local children.
In the shadow of the current stadium, local children from 6 - 12 years old, took part on a cold but enjoyable day. It gave them a chance to learn new skills and meet new friends in a safe and friendly environment. This event will be the first of many coaching camps throughout school holidays in the coming year. The video below shows what was done on the day and highlights what we set out to achieve with bigger coaching camps to come in the future.
Details of future coaching camps will be e-mailed to members, published on this site and put out to the local community.
If you would like to get involved with the coaching camps or any aspect of Spirit of Shankly's community work then please contact Paul Gardner at community@spiritofshankly.com.
