Free Michael Shields Campaign - Action Required

Following yesterdays shock news from Jack Straw that he will not be granting a pardon to innocent Liverpool fan Michael Shields the following events have been organised by the Free Michael Shields Campaign.

Monday 6 July 12pm – All Hackney Carriages in Liverpool will parade past the Shields family home at noon.  Please make every effort to attend this and show your support.  The address is Towerlands Street, Wavertree, Liverpool.

Saturday 11 July 5pm – A vigil will be held for Michael at the Church of England Cathedral, all of Michael's campaigners will be in attendance, including the likes of Ricky Tomlinson.  Again please make every effort to attend.

Finally, a plea, if anybody, either themselves, or knows of anybody who has any information regarding the attack on Martin Georgiev, please come forward now.  Michael's legal team only have until the end of this month to submit any new evidence to Mr Straw and it is vital any available evidence is found.  Please either email michaelshieldscampaign@uwclub.net or call the office of John Weate, Michael's solicitor on 0151 647 0000, your information will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
