Good luck to Liverpool at the Eurofans Tournament in Ukraine

Spirit of Shankly, Liverpool Supporters Union would like to wish good luck to a group of fans representing Liverpool FC this summer.

They will be representing Liverpool at the Eurofans International Football Supporters Tournament in Lviv, Ukraine in June 2009 (June 25th-28th) organised by http://www.gokarpaty.org/

Lviv will be one of host cities for the European Championships in 2012. Lviv is regarded as the cultural capital of Ukraine.

The squad consists of players ranging in age from 16 to 45 and the standard of player they possess is very high with many having played at a very good level, therefore we are quietly confident they will be serious contenders for the competition outright.

The squad are looking to support the Marina Dalglish Appeal or Hillsborough Justice Campaign.
