The Spirit of Shankly would like to thank Kit Nelson who designed the Union logo.

We would also like to acknowledge the kindness of Tom Murphy who is the original sculpture of the Shankly statue at Anfield for his permission in allowing the Union to use the image of Shanks on the logo. Tom’s work can be viewed at http://www.liverpoolsculptures.com/ and includes some background about the Shankly statue itself.
The Union is currently pursuing a trademark application for the logo and we would respectfully remind third parties that its use requires the Union’s permission.
