Spirit of Shankly Summer Coaching Camps 2009

The Spirit of Shankly will be running three coaching camps in August on the 13th, 20th and 27th for 7 to 12 year olds. There will also be a smaller coaching day on the 30th July for 8-10 year olds. These will all be held at PlayFootball in Crosby.

Each day will run from 9.30am to 2.30pm with registration from 9.00am. On the three dates in August there will also be a minibus available, again free of charge, to take any children from Anfield to PlayFootball and back again after the end of the coaching. The Minibus will leave from outside the Shankly Gates at 8.30am. Places are limited so will be given on a first come, first served basis.

The coaching camps are run in collaboration with the Rhys Jones Memorial Fund. Entry is free of charge; however donations to the Rhys Jones Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.

Any children attending will need to bring a packed lunch with them and suitable clothing in case of bad weather. Studs and blades are not allowed, only mouldies and trainers.

There will also be the opportunity for the children participating to win a small LFC related prize. This will be awarded to the top scorer of the day of a target based game (August dates only).
