Statement from Karen Gill

This year is a very important year. It's exactly half a century since my granddad came to Anfield and the massive success story of Liverpool Football Club began. It's been 50 years of hard work, determination, success and even of tragedy, but I feel that at the present time our club is at an all time low and it's time to take action and turn things around. So I would like to add my voice to the thousands of others who have decided to say "NO" to Hicks and Gillett, "No" to their lies, "No" to their debts and "No" to their utter incompetence. Let's take a leaf out of Michael Shields' book and carry on fighting , never giving up until our goal has been achieved. In doing so we are ensuring that the legend of Liverpool Football Club and the spirit of my granddad live on.
