This Saturday, Liverpool supporters, with the backing and support of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, will be setting out to remind fellow supporters and the watching world of the on-going boycott of the S*n newspaper.
Prior to the game, the organisers are asking for supporters to show their support for the on-going campaign. Leaflets explaining the boycott will be distributed around the Anfield area to supporters and the Hillsborough Justice Campaign have 1,000 posters to be collected from their shop opposite The Kop which they are asking those going into the ground to collect and display before kick-off. Any supporters with banners relating to the boycott are also encouraged to bring them along.
This demonstration prior to the Sunderland game is hoped will be a catalyst for further action, with a mosaic currently being discussed for the Bolton game.
If you are able to help with the distribution of leaflets, or would like to collect a poster for display inside the ground, please gather at the Hillsborough Justice Campaign shop between 11am and Noon. Further details can be found here.
