Information for fans travelling to Bordeaux

We have received the following from Merseyside Police in relation to Thursday's match in Bordeaux.

FC BORDEAUX V LIVERPOOL, THURSDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER 2016

On behalf of the Bordeaux Police, I have been asked to relay the following information

1 –It is requested that Liverpool supporters socialise in the Victory Square in Bordeaux. There are numerous bars and restaurants in that area

2 – Between 15:30 and 16:30 hours to use the tram line B in the direction of ‘Berges de la Garonne’, alighting at ‘Brandenburg Station’. This journey will take about 30 minutes. Buses will then be made available to complete the journey to the stadium – a further 20 minutes.

The police are requesting that the Liverpool supporters adhere to this time table as the trams are extremely busy and will struggle to cope with the extra demand.
