Spirit Of Shankly have been made aware of News Of The World stamps appearing on envelopes containing membership packs and renewal letters that have been posted out to members. Following several queries about this, we felt it best to publicly clarify the situation.
The stamps are not Union related, and it would appear they were stamped on to envelopes at Royal Mail distribution centres as part of, what can only be assumed to be, a sponsorship deal the newspaper has arranged with Royal Mail and as a result we have no control over this.
