I speak on behalf of the Shankly family when I say that we are wholeheartedly behind The Spirit Of Shankly. - Karen Gill, March 2008
The documents below represent the guidance given by the main Union Management Committee in order to see a branch created.
Members are first of all directed to section 5.9 of the Constitution that deals with the creation and management of Branches. This explains how they should operate and also the rules relating to the number of members needed to form a branch and how they should be managed once affiliated.
The initial creation of the Branch will see assistance offered from the Secretary of the Union who will work with local members to establish and affiliate the Branch.
Once established the liaison between Branches and the main Union Management Committee are handled by either the UK and Ireland Supporters Officer or the Overseas Officer (for all other areas of the world).
